The 2026 Spartan Kids Regional Championships bring together young athletes from across each region to compete in a premier championship event designed to inspire, challenge, and celebrate the next generation of Spartans.
Any Regional Kids Championship is open to all eligible participants who meet the age requirements. No qualification is required unless otherwise stated by the region.
Each region will host its own championship event under standardised competition rules, age categories, and race formats, detailed below.
General Championship Standards
Eligibility & Age Requirements
- Age group placement is determined by the athlete’s age as of December 31, 2026.
- Athletes must be at least 9 years old on race day to participate in the competitive Championship race.
No qualification is required — participation is based solely on meeting the age criteria.
Age Group Categories (Championship Race)
- 9–10 years
- 11–12 years
- 13–14 years
Championship Distance Standard
The Regional Kids Championship race will feature a competitive 1.5K and 3K course distances, designed to challenge and inspire young athletes in all age divisions.
Obstacle density and technical difficulty will be adapted appropriately for each age group.
Awards
At each Regional Kids Championship event:
- The Top 3 athletes in each Age Group category, for both boys and girls, will receive an exclusive Delta Award in recognition of their achievement.
- There is no prize money associated with this event.
Kids European Championship
Location: Bonapart Garden, Estérel Saint-Raphaël, France

The Kids European Championship will take place on Friday, October 2, 2026, during the Spartan European Championship weekend.
This unique setting allows us to celebrate champions of all ages — young and adult — in one unforgettable atmosphere.

Kids LATAM Championship
Location: Mexico

The Kids LATAM Championship will take place in Mexico on August 1, 2026.
